CubScouts is a Parent driven organization that enables your children and others benefit from the experience of Scouting.

There are many positions that needs to be filled to help make a pack run.  Here are key, seasonal, and support roles that are needed.

All roles can be done with someone and they can always leverage other parents to help.  Here is a presentation -  Pack Leadership.pdf - that provides an overview of Pack Leadership.  If you are interested, please reach out to the Scoutmaster or another Leader.

Equipment Storage

Store pack flags, three bins, and water coolers for the pack that are needed throughout the year.

Campout

Coordinate planning (location, meals, attendee list) for Fall and Spring campouts

Our campouts are family camping style. Everyone brings their own sleeping arrangements. We supply the food (cost can get passed down to attendees). 

The pack has camping/cooking supplies. It does not have have a grill or camp stove. 
 

Website Management

Manage the website, create new users, and respond to requests.

Popcorn Kernel

Attend the Council Popcorn Kickoff event, schedule Show and Sells at local stores, and manage the popcorn orders including picking up and distributing orders to scouts.

Melissa DeTaeye & Jill Gimmy

Event Coordinator

Work with the Plank South School, West Webster Firehouse, Monroe Country Park and other locations to make reservations.

Pinewood Derby

Manage setup and storage of the pinewood derby track along with coordinating pinewood derby activities.

New Membership

Attend Plank South PTSA and Kindergarten events to drum up interest in the pack.

Work with social media coordinator to distribute joining night flyer to Webster schools.

Plan the joining night and work with Cubmaster on sharing about our pack to get new members to join.

Manage new member requests and help with coordination of September kickoff.

Work with the Council and St. Martin's Church on Administrative activities 

Treasure

Manage pack finances.

Coordinate overall Pack Activities and support Den Leaders
